Hi all just asking what laser engraver would be the best to use to cut basically everything many thanks

No such thing.

  • Diode
  • CO2
  • Fiber
  • RF
  • IR

Each has its pros and cons. Many users on this forum have multiple machines. Diode machines are typically starter units, and Fiber can cost as much as a new car. Start with a Diode and learn as much as you can. Hopefully, you can get enough sales to justify purchasing one of the other designs.

A limited list… only visible lasers

More of a wider overview… Nd:YAG lasers are the same frequency as most hobby fiber lasers.

Wavelength goes up (longer) to the right, longer wavelength … lower frequency.

I’ve had three different Atomstack brand diode lasers and been very happy with all of them. Reasonable price, decent customer service, good quality and reliability.
