App for making engraving successful
I have been working on engraving Acrylic with a CO2 laser and found a few apps
For line work I have found ARTOZAL( https://artozal.com/) to give the best results and produce clean crisp artwork for engraving that take the pain out of image prep. Works well with lightburn and traces very well without any major problems. Many different styles available and worth a try
For free app that does a similar job with simple to use interface is COLORIFY (https://colorifyai.art/photo-to-sketch/). Good for less complicated images.
The third app for photo images is IMAGR (Prepare Images for Laser Engraving – 3 Modes | ImagR).
I does an amazing job of image prep that works well,. It even has an option to create lightburn files. Its quick and easy and has options for fine adjustment of the file produced.
A bit more expensive than the other options but can save time in the prep stage.
Some may already know of these apps but for any new user trying engraving acrylic (or other material) these apps can be a great help.
