I’ve been using Lightburn for about 2 years. But recently I have had a problem with the items outside the grid being sent to my laser. When I check the Preview Window it indicates the everything outside the window is being sent to the laser. And, it is! I have probably done something but, I can’t find a solution. I would certainly appreciate some help.
Are you using cut selected graphics in laser window?
You should set the Ignore out-of-bounds shapes if possible switch in the Edit → Settings → Display Settings, although it seems to have moved from the File section to the Display section after those screenshots.
I am sorry about the delay in responding (I’m old) but I checked and did not have the Cut Selected Graphics enabled. That does give me another way to go. But it doesnt really solve my concern. You see I did not have this problem until recently.
Prior to this I could place multiple pieces of a project to the side of the grid and simply slide one off and another on the grid. When I did this the Preview window would only display the pieces inside the grid. Now it displays them all and sends them all to the laser.

Ignore out of bound shapes seemed to work for me. But I just use cut selected shapes.
