Apple Silicon version?

Are there plans to release an Apple Silicon version of MillMage? Get the following warning when running on macOS 26.5:

Yes, the plans to release an Apple Silicon version are well underway - for LightBurn this is detailed in in the link below and MillMage will be getting the same update:

Thanks. Should also make the application noticeably faster as well

even faster? :slightly_smiling_face:
Which part would you like to see sped up?

I have an answer for that. Opening time of the program, it takes about 10 seconds on average on my M3 Macbook and a little longer on my M1 mini. Most other programs open in less than 5 seconds. Whenever there is a new version it takes minutes to open the first time and usually times out and I need to open again before it works.

I have not used it much yet but wanted to verify there were plans for the apple silicon version before investing any time into it so thank you for verifying that. But in general no matter what it will be faster and use up less resources on the machine.

A native ARM build will certainly speed up the startup times. Especially the first start after an update can take more than 20 seconds, from what I’ve heard. A large part of this is Rosetta doing its thing. It caches the translated code, so successive startups are faster.
