Apply Text to Path Question

I have no problem putting text on a circle path. I can even figure out how to place it on the bottom and it be readable. My question is how do I remove the circle and the text stays curved? When using Framing, it creates a problem even if it is No Output and Not Visible selected. I think I did it once, but did not take notes.

One option is to assign the guide line property (T1 in the Layer menu below) to the path. Then apply path to text (Arrange menu)

That may have been what I did. I do not do enough raw development work to stay proficient. Thanks!

Yes, @Tilman offers one way to achieve this goal. Another, select the text and then pull the ‘Blue-dot’ to bend your text into an arch.

Not so blue the dot, but I found it. And I can even slope it. This is so cool!!!
