Ärger mit schneiden

Hello!
After a break of about 4 weeks, I finished cutting out an object from a 3 mm birch plywood panel. I had always cut through with 180x 80% at 1 pass. Now I have to use 180x 100% and 2 passes. Why is that? Is the laser tired? Or is there something wrong with the new version of Lightburn 1.7.01? I also had to recalibrate the axes after installation.
I use an Atomstack A20pro and really haven’t used it much and it has always worked well.
Does anyone know what I should do?
thanks in advance
Angelo

If you think the new version of LB has changed your settings, you can reinstall a copy of your system settings from the last functioning version or reinstall the old version complete. It is a very easy way to outline errors that could come from update by LB.
As for your problems with cutting plywood, remember that there is often a difference in the composition of the different deliveries and also in the same delivery of material I have experienced fluctuations in quality.
If you want to seriously test whether your laser effect has changed, it is necessary to have material left from the first test or use a power measuring instrument.

In addition to Bernd: did you clean the lens thoroughly? It is required to check it regularly.

I have found local humidity can affect the results between a new board and part of the same one used later. So many variables!

Moisture in the wood certainly also plays a role, but I was thinking more about the veneer itself and most importantly, the glue.

Hallo! Es war das erste das ich nachgeschaut habe. Linse und Schutzglas waren in Ordnung. Dann muss doch das Holz die Ursache sein. Trotzdem vielen Dank
