Why are some fonts like Arial Black not available in older versions of lightburn
The software uses your computer system fonts. Lightburn does not have any native fonts.
If you can use that font in a word processor, then it is available in LB.
Additionally, check to ensure the âShow System Fontsâ is ticked on. Right-click in the âFont Selectionâ box to expose the context menu.
Looks like you do a right click instead of a left click on the font dropdown. Thatâs why you donât have the list of fonts?
Note that you can also click on the font name and change it: eg. if you type a space after Arial, it might complete to Black.
That is expected if you do not have SHX fonts set for use, so this is fine. Do you see other fonts in the drop-down list? Do you have access to the âArial Blackâ font from other applications on that system?
