I am trying to design a file and I do better when I can see the full colors and such so I have rendered fill on. I use to do a lot of desktop publishing back in the 90’s so I am pretty familiar with vector graphics files and terminology but I either don’t get this command or it’s not working correctly.
In the image I will upload you will see a dolphin (it’s 2 parts) and a palm tree, I need the palm tree on top of the dolphin but it only goes behind it no matter the use of Arrange/ push to front or push to back tool and I even thought maybe it was to do with the cut order so I made the green the top and it’s still behind everything else.
What am I doing wrong? Or better yet how can I get the arrangement correct?
Those arrange operations will only affect ordering within a layer. It cannot cross layer boundaries. So layer order takes precedence takes priority over sub-layer order.
