We’ve noticed an increase in the number of AI summaries being offered in an attempt to support and encourage members of our community.
In short, we don’t do that here, and would prefer others refrained too. AI can’t distinguish fact from fiction, can make up content entirely (called hallucination), often gets the details wrong, and presents its summary as an authority even when it is not, so people tend to believe it.
Copying and pasting results from an AI without review or editing has not been well received by the community. It often generalizes and has misinterpreted the source material in many cases, and it has a “voice” or tone to it that people now recognize and dislike.
We have real experts on staff and in our community and prefer their answers over generative AI summaries. Please reference our ‘Official’ documentation and resources and link to those whenever possible, as this is the direct original source, produced and managed by the LightBurn Team.
