Assign cuts and layers

Hi all. I have been trying to assign cuts to run after engraving.
It doesn’t matter if i put the cuts layer first or last it always cuts first.
I am using a 10 watt creality falcon.

Can you provide a full screenshot of LightBurn with the design loaded and the Cuts layer showing?

Also, a screenshot of your Optimization Settings from Laser window.

Turning on optimisation settings fixed my problem
