Im new here an only have had the atomstack a40 max for 3 weeks. ive tried to cut out a few mandalas but they dont line up 100%. my biggest problem is it cuts super thin in spots. i need some advice on this

Given one picture and four words, I think @JimNM has nailed it. This test pattern helps identify mechanical problems: GrundTest.lbrn2 Scale it to fit the platform and run it as fast as it will go in Line mode with optimizations turned off and power set to mark a sheet of cardboard. Any differences from the design will be informative. Upload good photos of the result so we can look over your shoulder.

i think i did it how you said but here is the test

Go trough the links above and check your Y, clean rollers and ways, check frame squareness and squareness between X and Y, give a good mech overhaul and lubricate slightly your X linear guide.

Edit: Forgot to ask if you setup your laser as plain GRBL and not GRBL-M3 or GRBL-LPC?

I set it up as just GRBL. I looked at it for a little bit and the gantry was off a little bit when I push it against the back, so I got that adjusted where each side hits the back at the same time. need to run a test again but hope that is the problem.
