Atomstack A40 Pro V2

Hello.
I’m looking on Atomstack A40 PRO V2 F60 ([Link Atomstack.com])(https://atomstack.com/products/atomstack-ace-a40-pro-v2-laser-engraver?variant=50272239091985) model with Z-axis and extension kit
I was contacting support in Atomstack but without special results in answer.
I would like to ask if someone have this model / experience with it / or just seen which can help to answer some questions below.

  1. “Sinking” function can be achieved on A40 pro v2 with Lightburn?
  2. Someone have tried V2 laser module 40W with cutting ex. plywood 10/20mm?
  3. What are general experiences & impressions on this model?
  4. Cutting bed F3 is better then standard honeycomb (raised for air flow)?

I would be very grateful for any inputs on this subject.

So far I have found one post in relationship to A40 V2 by @sbehr655.

In regard to the bed, here’s their infographic. There might be pros and cons depending on the the material since it has a small contact surface. I have only used a honeycomb bed and I appreciate how flat it is for paper and leather.

By sinking do you mean z axis control?

By sinking - yes, Z-axis control during cutting.
Acc. bed, I was wondering if someone in real life tested both of them. I have ordinary honeycomb also on my Sculpfun which I have raised up 15mm and it helps a lot vs. smoke marks from bottom part - but I didn’t had possibility myself to test “Matrix” version.

Yes, you will be able to control the z axis in between cuts: Line Mode - LightBurn Documentation

Here’s a similar model demonstrating z axis adjustment and setup: https://youtu.be/gmVbeJBoDF0?si=Or-xZA4_u595iBPt&t=328
