Atomstack ac1 camera

Hello dear friends.

I treated myself with a new camera the Atomstack ac1. Now i use on my laser an old laptop that runs Windows 7 Home edition. Before i used a Logitch 920c as camera but it always jumped a bit around and therefor needed lots of recalibration. I installed the ac1 but Lightburn, however it sees an USB camera will not show the view from the camera.

The camera is working i tested that in two ways. If i take my Windows 11 laptop and try to add the camera, that works fine but also if on the Windows 7 laptop i use OBS Studio i can select and see the camera. I tried to change the camera in the settings but that did not work.

Problem is that Atomstack has no drivers for the camera since its compatibility to all windows as they say. I also tried to update the driver in the device menu for the Atomstack but it says it has the newest and working version. Somebody an idea what to do? Thanks in advance. If further info neede i will try to provide that of course.

If your desktop is Windows 7, you might need to install the UVC driver bundle. It’s standard on Win8 and later, but an add-on for Win7. What is just as incredible is that I have exactly the same problem as Ronald, I did the same tests … and I was desperate. So, thank you for the solution that works. I do not see why the camera worked with VLS and OBS, but not with Lightburn ???
