Hi I find that the fan on my M100 is very loud and would like to remove the fan and install a quieter fan using this 3D printed part and a Noctua NF-A6x25 FLX
I would appreciate some feedback from people that have done this and if it was a success.

What you failed to mention that this is a 4-pin PWM controlled fan. That means adding some electronics to make it function.
I was interested in replacing the exhaust fan on the iCube, but it appears Noctua does not have a single speed 2-wire version. It appears the low noise is a result of reducing fan blade speed. Not sure if the 3-wire is a 2-speed or not. Also saw mixed reviews on both noise and performance. I added an On-Off switch to my iCube fan and I think I will just stick with that.
I have no problem with noise from the laser cooling fans. All my machines are in an enclosure with exhaust fans.
Maybe…
As an electronics technician of many, Many, MANY years, I am reluctant to suggest hooking something up to see if it smokes. If you have an adequate budget, go for it.
Noisy fans usually indicate a fan with high performance. While Noctua fans are typically really good, using a little noctua as a replacement for something that should have lots of airflow might lead to power drop outs if the laser module overheats (and cuts power to save itself)
