Atomstack M4 PRO, no focus button (sw) and bad framing

  1. In AtomStack Maker there is a button for focus, which displays a red dot besides the blue one … Raise or lower Z to align the dots. There’s no such function in LightBurn from what I can find?

  2. When framing there is the occasional stutter of correct framing, but more often it’s just stationary. In AtomStacks software it works fine.

I am happy to help with logs or anything to relieve these issues!

In the 2.0.03 release, you should have a “Focus Light” port bit that you can enable, and that will turn on the focus button.

(I do not know if “Port 1” is the correct port, but I’m showing this for illustration)

Once a port other than “None” is selected, if you restart LightBurn (or just re-select that laser from the Devices list) you’ll see the focus button:

Hello,

In Lightburn, the M4pro responds, but it immediately triggers the selection when the frame is selected. I’ve tried many port settings, but the selection either starts immediately or only when the frame is activated.

I need help, please.

Does somebody knows the correct Port Settings ???

Thank you.

Hi everyone with problems with the M4pro

I get the thing to work with Lightburn (great thanks to the LB support !!!)

The port assignment in Lightburn is completely wrong.

I’m sending you a photo of my settings. Both lasers need to be set to analog.

After making the changes, restart Lightburn.

The focus point should then be selectable.

I’d love to hear how it goes.

I’m currently printing an extension for the M4, for tall objects.

Has anyone rotarys for the M4?

I have the R1 and R3 for the A20, but I need an adapter box for the M4. Atomstack can’t supply one though…

Best regards and good luck,
Jörg
