Hello. No matter what I did or where I looked, I couldn’t find it. I’m new to this. I want to engrave the watch band as in the attached photo, but I could not find the Light Burn settings. Please help regarding this issue.
Setting for what? Do you have the design? Please upload your lightburn file or svg file and someone will look at it.
You need to import the svg file into lightburn. Then open cuts/layers and set the power and speed for each layer. If your new to this you may want to do some simpler projects to start with until you learn the ins and outs of lightburn
Thanks, but I did as you said. I never managed to engrave it this way.
I’ve been working on this issue for 5 days, but I couldn’t make any progress. Since home lasers are not very common in Turkey, foreign sources are also very mixed.
Without knowing the material, helping you will be difficult. If those bands are silicone or urethane, you may not be able to mark them with a laser. Is than a laser marking or is it an imprint with something like paint or ink?
Hello, the material is silicone. A quality replica strap. As you can see from the SVG file and the example I posted, the inside of the shapes are engraved. However, when I do it, it only digs on the outside. It doesn’t dig inside.
Yeah, one of the traits of silicone. It is heat resistant. I am guessing those markings are molded in.
Are you running in fill mode or line mode?
I ran it in both modes. However, I could not get the result I wanted.
Thank you. Unfortunately, I’m still working on this issue.
If you run this design on wood, or on cardboard at low power does it turn out as expected? When you use the preview window does it appear as expected?
Photos of your results as well as a screenshot of your lightburn might help find a solution.
