Title: Atomstack X40 Max – Works from TF card but not via USB or WiFi
Hello everyone,
I am from France and I don’t speak English very well, so I am using a translator to write this message. I apologize if there are any mistakes or awkward wording. Thank you very much for your understanding and for any help you can provide.
I have an Atomstack X40 Max and I’m trying to connect it to LightBurn.
Here is my situation:
- The machine powers on normally.
- Homing works correctly from the machine’s touchscreen.
- I replaced a faulty limit switch, and now homing is perfect.
- The machine engraves and cuts perfectly when I use the TF (microSD) card.
- The built-in WiFi starts correctly and I can connect my PC to it.
- I can successfully ping the machine’s IP address.
- However, LightBurn cannot communicate with the machine, either through WiFi or USB.
- Windows does not recognize the USB connection correctly (I have already tried several USB cables and two different computers).
- According to the previous owner, the USB connection has never worked since he bought the machine.
Could this be:
- a firmware issue?
- a controller board configuration issue?
- a defective USB interface?
- or something specific to the X40 Max?
Has anyone experienced the same problem or found a solution?
Thank you very much for your help.
