After setting up my Atomstack A70 pro I am having problems with work space. After using auto focusing button on my lightburn dashboard, I try to start my job but the laser module goes way off from my design I was just framing over. I am set to absolute coords and home the machine at start up. I am so frustrated because all my other machines have no issues.
There might be something outside your design. Use CTRL-A to see if there are any remnants out there.
Use the Cut Selected Graphics in the Laser window. I do not use, but some say to turn on Use Selection Origin also..
Is this a macro button in the console window? If so, show the contents of it. I suspect the command to reset not only the z position but also the x and y coordinates.
The only way to use Autofocus with Lightburn and the A70 Pro is to set up a Macro in the console.
This is the command that will do that. [ESP500]
Running the macro should have no effect on framing a job
When you Autofocus it will focus to the “Engrave” position above the workpiece .
When Homing the A70 Pro it will automatically home the X Y and Z axis
I agree with the above that you have something else going on.
Are you framing with the Blue diode laser or the Red X
Here’s some instructions i wrote on how to use autofocus with the A70 Pro or A70 Max
