Automation interface for LightBurn?

Does LighBurn offer any automation interface or SDK?

I’m looking to automate a process where I have sensors to be kitted up and resold in various quantities between 2 and 18 per kit. These have a QR code that I will optically read with a camera. That information is then used to pair each sensor to my device. I then need to take information read from the QR code, a 6 digit HEX number and laser it along with my company logo onto a label for each sensor.

I know I can probably do it using a 3rd party macro tool, but was wondering if LightBurn offered any interfacing to allow a changing text to be changed and then lasered.

I may have thousands of these to do, so automation is a must.

I will be using a custom build turntable to present the labels under the laser.

I would need to control LightBurn remotely for each laser job as they will vary in real time. For example I may run a kit with 2 sensors and then one with 10. I just need to able to set the Hex code text fields and run a single engraving and then repeat the process until I have ran all sensors.

I don’t think there is such an interface available for LightBurn. You could have a look at this: Release Version 1.7.3.0 · svenhb/GRBL-Plotter · GitHub The latest version has a quite strong automation interface. I did not test it yet, but it looks interesting (check out the videos linked there).
