Autosave LB 2.0.0.5

Hello, I need some advice regarding LightBurn (version 2.0.0.5) – specifically about automatic file backups.

I had an unfortunate situation: I accidentally selected all objects instead of just one, deleted them, and then saved the file. By the time I realized my mistake, I had already closed the program, so I couldn’t undo it.

From what I found online, automatic saving only works if you make some change within the set interval and do not manually save the file. If the file is saved manually, the automatic backup is reportedly deleted – and I have confirmed this in practice.
For example, when I just moved a frame to another position, an automatic backup was created after a minute, but as soon as I manually saved the file, this backup was deleted.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to make backups permanent – ideally keeping multiple versions of a single project?

Thanks for any advice!

The automatic backup in Lightburn has always been just an emergency file if Lightburn crashes. It is deleted when the file or Lightburn is closed. It has never been usable as a fallback to previous version type of backup.
