Backwards engraving?

I’m not sure what I did but there’s quite a few things that don’t seem right all of a sudden 1 in Lightburn on the work area everything loads normally but when it gets sent to my engraver the text goes the opposite direction along with any image the origin is top left in device settings 2 I have to mirror the image vertically so the text prints correctly if not text shows in reverse I know it’s confusing what do you need to try and help I’ll do my best to show and tell

Laser engraver Atomstack P7 M30
LightBurn 1.3.01

Hey, I have the same issue with a P7 M40 and LightBurn 1.3.01 as well.
Supposedly, the transversal (viewed from front) arm of the machine should move in X, and the perpendicular arm should move in Y. In my case the axis are upside down: X is moving perpendicular and Y is going left to right. Also, the image -which shows correctly on screen- always gets mirrored in vertical when burned.
So, I’ve done a couple of jobs having these facts in account and can live with it, but guess there’s something not well adjusted. Anyway, I’m investigating and hopefully will understand the config, but will follow this forum for any clue. Thanks in advance!

It is indeed weird hopefully someone can explain this if you come up with a solution to it please by all means let me know thanks

Every Atomstack machine I’m familiar with is a front-left origin device. Change in Device Settings and this should be corrected.

This will explain what is happening, and how to fix it:

I’ve just changed the origin to top right in ‘Edit/Device Settings’, ‘Basic Settings’ default tab. Now, the shapes get burned as they are shown on screen, no mirroring needed. For me this is OK.

Only thing is the engraver’s ‘page’ top is to my left and bottom to my right, but that is not really important. You can always rotate the shapes in any angle you prefer.

Hope this could be of help anyway!
