Is there a way to have the barcode be variable text based on another “field” of human readable text in the engraving?
Confused here. Lightburn does not have a barcode generator.
It does now under the ‘tools’ menu
I am using 1.06.03, GRBL dialect. Only QR is in my Tool list.
The publicly available 1.7.00 release candidate supports barcodes, datamatrix codes, and lots of others.

Can you explain what you actually mean by this?
Variable text comes from a CSV file. There isn’t a way to make any of the barcodes pull text from other text within the project, but you could pull the human readable text and the barcode from the same CSV source.

I think that pulling both from a csv is the solution here.
In the past with other brand specific software I’ve used at work each object that is marked has parameters that can be referenced by other objects or linked. It was getting me stuck in that mindset. I will try having both come from the csv as a solution
