Using the xtool F1 ultra because of the enclosure. And chose this program for the variable text option.But they wont scan. I believe I need to make them as a negative.
I have to create tags with a barcode which is different for each. used excel to create the fields as text then exported them as a .csv
In Lightburn, I set up the locations and the third excel row, I used a font that turns my text as a barcode 128. This burns them in perfect, but because of the reflective of the machine aluminum, it wont scan.
How can I turn these variables as a negative?

You only need to draw a square around the entire barcode.
Not sure what you mean.
I now have my tool layer set to the same layer as the text, see pic, the first one is all layer 02 and set to offset fill. Do I need to do anything else? The preview looks good, but I want to make sure.
(Note, the laser is at home and this is for work, I can do a test during lunch.)
