If anyone is interested, here is a beard comb I created for a friend. Final results were not too shabby. I used a sander on the edge after lasering it to put a taper on the combing portion.

I’ve tried combs before. They were either too big of bristles or too fragile. I should maybe try out using maple or oak or something stronger than basswood.
Yep, this one was from maple. Friend said it worked perfect and he still uses it to this day!

I miss the days of having a noteworthy beard. My Mrs has since gotten used to me just having stubble, and I’m not allowed to grow it out any more.
