Curve acceleration stutters

Has anyone notice when cutting circles in Lightburn that circles are cut in sections and the laser seems to have a slowdown in each section before continuing? I made a simple test of cutting 5 circles inside each other of different sizes. Cutting in both RDworks and Lightburn, In Lightburn, the circle seems to cut the circle in 4 sections, where the laser would speed through one part, slows down and then speeds to the next. I’m still noticing slight pauses in the quadrants when the laser is running at a higher speed, just not as pronounced as it was before I made the last adjustments (backlash).

I’m not noticing that when I move my laser head on my X-axis, it takes more force to move than if I were to move my Y-axis gantry.

So my question boils down to, should I tighten my belts on my Y-axis, so it’s stiffer? or loosen my X-axis belt so they are both running with the same resistance?
