I am currently using the NEJE A40640Ⅱ 12W 450nm Zoom Laser Module and i am on my 3rd one. They have only lasted about a year no matter what i do. What would be a better reasonably priced option?
I dont mind spending the $170 a year but it has a 2 year warranty and they are so hard to get in touch with. I feel like i am not getting what i paid for.
I don’t have any recommendations with respect to which lasers may last longer, however I am curious about the mode of failure that you are experiencing. What happens with the lasers after the year of (how much?) use?
Are you always using air assist and periodically cleaning and/or replacing the lenses?
Can you tell us how do you use your machine? This look’s like bad luck or improper use.
well, the modules made by lasertree seems to be quite good.
btw they are a little bit expensive laserTree
You might just be at that price. The maximum diode output wattage is about 5.5 watts. Typical is closer to 5 watts. If they are getting 12 watts out of 2 each 5-watt diodes, they are driving them too hard.
Repeat question, Do you have Air Assist?
