Better Way to Export from AutoCAD to Lightburn

There are a few issues I am encountering here. The first is that I am currently exporting the dxf outside profile and then plot printing the pdf for the lettering. Then, with the pdf I am throwing that into inkscape and exporting that out as a png. Is there a better way?

The issue I am running into with the png is that the lettering is small and lightburn is stepping the letters. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Why don’t you import the DXF directly into Lightburn???

DXF is vector data. PDF is generally vector data (but can include raster components – don’t get me started on scanned PDFs). Inkscape natively uses SVG, which is vector data. Is there something in your workflow that requires you to use PNG, a raster format, instead of vector data?

The stair-stepping is almost certainly the result of scaling of raster data.

Can you upload an example of your DXF file and also the PDF?
