Bi-Directional vs Uni-Directional Offset

I’ve been engraving using the default bi-directional option with very good results. I just tried turning it off to see how things look using uni-directional. For some reason in uni the Y axis seems fine, but the X axis seems to offset each line at a 1:2 ratio, giving what appears to be a perfect 45 degree slant.

I read about the rising/falling PWM settings, but since the bi-directional mode works fine I don’t think that’s the issue? Not sure if this is something that needs to be adjusted in LightBurn or the controller (Ruida).

Top two rows is bi, bottom row is uni.

If the controller is switching direction at the end of each line, that’s probably the setting you need to change.
