big project for my garage

This week’s big project was to create a 51.97 inch by 51.97 inch tile mural in my garage. To do this, I split a 1.32 inch by 1.32 inch image into 16 tiles of equal size.

The white tiles were painted black and then varnished. I then glued the tiles to the wall, and here is the result.

I still have two or three finishing touches to do and an LED strip to install to highlight the mural in the garage bar area.

That’s epic — the scale alone makes it a real showpiece, and the detail you’ve managed to keep across all 16 tiles is seriously impressive. The LED strip is going to make it look even more dramatic.
