My preview screen went from a white background with black lines to a black background with white lines. Not sure if this is a new update or if I push the button to change it somehow has anyone seen anything like this? If so, is it normal or how do I change it back?
Yes it is clicked on (how it’s showing in your picture)
Click it off to reverse the image

Our documentation offers some more information about the inverted ‘Preview’ display and is worth review, as is all our docs.
