HI,
I can’t find any topic regarding Bluetooth connection on Sculpfun 30 Ultra 22 W.
The Lightburn program works perfectly on the USB port but does not recognize the Bluetooth device.
Suggestions?
I thank
LightBurn does not directly support Bluetooth devices. Having said that, if the laser supports bluetooth serial and you can configure bluetooth over serial on your computer this could potentially be made to work.
Typically bluetooth wouldn’t be considered a reliable connection for streaming laser work.
It’s not that difficult. Just use Windows Bluetooth discovery to find the laser and pair it. After you have paired, there is another (virtual) COM port that connects via Bluetooth. Just choose that port for connection.
Be aware, wireless communication is less stable than wired communication. There is more lag in laser control. It sometimes takes a second until the laser reacts. And risks of fires due to stopped communication is higher. So only use Bluetooth if there is no other option. And still, NEVER EVER leave the laser alone. Stay close to it while it runs.
