Boolean operation deletes initial object

after doing a simple circle array with a circle and a square, then doing a boolean union, the original square is somehow deleted. I have done this procedure many times but for the last 4 days it has not worked properly. doing the the same operation on my other computer I

have no problem

Use the WELD command instead of UNION

That works but it doesn’t solve the boolean problem

Looks like weird things are happening after using circle array. I’m not able to open the boolean window for example. I did find if you group the squares together it works for me.

I just tried the regular array and it works normal.

I’m very sorry! but, the problem was with me. When doing a full circle array, the starting point should be at 0.0. I had it set at 1 which put a duplicate square on top
of the original square. the duplicate square cause the problem.
