Beautiful machine… Did you get the servo motors with it?

Do they recommend you run the machine at 100% power?

Nice work… good use for a lot of power…

:smile_cat:

thanks Jack

We did get the servo motors with the unit.

Boss recommends running it at 95 which from their explanation the laser is capped at, so even if you enter 100 it will still run at 95.

Assume this has a Ruida controller. The maximum pwm values are set within that device.

Still 95% is pretty hot… is this an RF or DC excited machine?

Did they give you any kind of an estimated tube life?

:smile_cat:

the tube has an estimated life of 12,000 hours, i think it is a RF machine

Just a little update on this everyone, after doing some more testing i was able to get the speed increased and it seems pretty consistent. Here are the new settings

Oxygen PSI: 70 (note: what i’ve found is it is important that when the laser is cutting that the oxygen psi is at 70)
Speed mm/sec: 6
Power Max: 100
Power Min: 100
PPI: 1150

Boss Laser Pierce Settings
Drilling Power: 95
Drilling Total Time: 1.50
Drilling Intervals: 0.60
