Hallo Allemaal,
Ik heb nog een groentje op het gebied ben laseren, echter heb ik mijn laser al een paar dagen in huis en alles ging goed tot nu toe, als ik nu bijv. hallo laat laseren dan brand de laser ook de bewegingslijnen mee dit deed hij hiervoor niet.

Wat kan ik hieraan doen, want dat is niet wat ik wil hebben.

Hopelijk kan iemand mij hiermee helpen.

Usually this is caused by the laser not being set to “laser mode” ($32=1). However, you’re saying that this used to work without problem so not sure if that’s the case here since the configuration doesn’t change on its own.

Let’s confirm. Can you check the following:

1. Confirm that your device is setup as a GRBL device, not GRBL-M3 or other. You can check this by clicking on the “Devices” button in the Laser window.
   
   
2. Type $$ followed by the enter key in the Console window. Then copy all the returned output in a reply to this forum.

I’m not sure what’s going on but there’s clearly something wrong. It seems a lot of the configuration settings can’t be what you had earlier.

Can you confirm this is your laser?

It lists an Engraving size of: 410x420mm.

Your configuration shows $130 (width) $131 (height) of 200x200mm.

The main configuration I was looking for $32 is set to 0 which is the likely cause of the issue you listed.

In order to fix this please do the following:

1. Take a backup of your configuration in Edit->Machine Settings; Push save button
2. In console, type $32=1 followed by enter key
3. If your machine is in fact 410x420mm then do $130=410 and $131=420 one at a time followed by enter
4. Make sure that Edit->Device Settings reflects the same values:
   
   

There may be other configurations that are incorrect based on what’s happening but start with these.

I have done this now and he laser now without the lines of movement, but now it is the case that I have the text Hello with a size of 38,000 mm laser it on the wood laser in 170,000 mm what can I do about this?
