Bug - Lightburn 1.7.03 - Zoom after variable text bake causes visibility error

Summary: After baking Variable Text, zooming into objects causes all variable text to disappear. It appears to be tied to being Grouped. If Ungrouped, the numbers appear.

Repro:

  1. Create a box, add Variable text, set as Serial Number in variable text dropdown. Enter value as dd.
  2. Group box & variable text.
  3. Create an array. I did 6 columns by 4 rows.
  4. Using Variable text tab, Bake the text.
  5. Zoom into the result. At a certain point in the zoom, the text/numbers will disappear, but the box will be visible. Zooming back out causes text to appear again.

Fix: Ungroup the baked text. Once ungrouped, text/numbers will once again appear. After that, grouping or ungrouping has no effect on visibility.

I can reproduce this on 1.7.03 on Win11.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I too, have reproduced using Mac and have generated a report. :slight_smile:
