Bug? Partially overlapping shapes dont exclude overlap from being marked

i noticed a bug when enabling Filled Renderings in settings,
you see when objects overlap and which areas get filled and which not.
but it isnt the same as the cut preview

The bug is that shapes that are not fully inside a shape just get ignored and also filled instead of inverting the overlap

so theres either a bug that wont exlude those areas from being marked or a bug that marks those areas twice.

with Filled Rendering turned off its just two circles

With it turned on and the smaller circle not fully inside the other circle it excludes the overlap from being marked as it should.

but preview says its getting marked twice in the same area. doesnt line up with the rendering

but if the circle is fully inside bigger circle

preview is also correct it exludes the area from being marked as it should

this also explains the bug reports named “overlaps first and last cuts makes a deeper cut line” and “fill seems to be over cutting lines in between shapes” as it runs over that area twice

Boolean tools - try’em out for a fun time.

for excluding this area i would need to duplicate them and take the difference as the boolean tools wont keep the “tool” when cutting. would be nice if theres a hotkey like shift+boolean tool to keep both objects and create a third thats the boolean

just found out i need to set this to make it work properly
makes sense.

i had it set to fill shapes individually as it seemed to be faster but this also fills and overlaps shapes. same with flood fill
