Bug: Variable text is not centered the same way normal text is

When you have 2 texts:
Test
%1
You center both using the p-key, Now XPos and YPos are the same.
But when you preview the variable text they don’t sit on top of each other?

The same problem occurs when using multi line text variables.
The ‘reference point’ is Center/Center and the Align X and Align Y are both set to Middle
