Since the upgrade, when you are in the “node editor” fonction, the shortcuts are no more working. ctrl I open the import file windows, ctrl D is duplicating the whole form, ,same for the others… I work with the french version and an AZERTY keyboard (but D and I are the same with qwerty).
It’s not linked with a specific file, as, to check I created a new file with just a single and simple vector drawing with the pen. The help popup has not changed the shortcuts.

This seems to be a common misinterpretation regarding the node edit shortcut keys. You don’t need to press the Ctrl key, just the letter keys on their own.

This is what seems to cause confusion. The actual help bubble is correct but is often misinterpreted. Here’s a blow-up:
You’ll see it quotes “Ctrl + `”. This is the keyboard shortcut that invokes the node edit tool and is the alternative to clicking on the Node Edit button.
