Buggy duplicate detection when Print and Cut is active in LightBurn Pro 2.0.05

I’m trying to cut an oversized sign in Lightburn using Print and Cut but it’s not possible because it’s saying there are duplicate shapes when there aren’t and won’t actually cut the shapes in the project.
Here is a video showing the issue:

Here’s what happens

  1. I finished cutting page 1 of the sign
  2. I open project for page 2 of the sign
  3. I do preview, it shows the normal preview
  4. I select the targets 1 and 2 and do Align Outputs to Targets
  5. I do preview again, now there is a popup saying there are 21 duplicate shapes
  6. I click delete, it deletes 90% of the shapes so clearly they were not duplicates

If I just try to run the job anyway, it does a single horizontal line “cut” from target 1 to target 2 with 0% laser power. I’m glad I tested this with cardboard first!

Ah I figured it out. It was because I didn’t move the laser head between setting the targets.

Lightburn is supposed to have a popup warning telling you this and stopping you from setting the other target in this case, but I think because I set target 2 first, this safety mechanism didn’t trigger.
