I did search but either they were diode related or didn’t really answer the question/solution.
I am getting the burn dots at the start/stop of a scored layer. I kinda recall reading about this long time back but can’t recall were or what the solution was.
I have a OMTech Polar C02 laser. DSP. Ruida controller 442S/G. LB ver 1.5.0
I don’t recall having them before so not sure why they seem to be appearing now.
It looks very “mechanical” to me. Check your machine for loose pulleys or loose belts. Also the lens could be loose in the nozzle…?
Thanks. Just went and checked and lens tight, holder too. I don’t have a belt tension gauge but they feel tight and not lossy goosy in any way. No movement in the laser head. Thanks.
If you look at your lp grooves, they are very uneven, there is a mechanical problem. Have you used a small hex key and checked that the screws are tight?
