Buying advice for around $2500

Hi guys,

I’m all new here, found this forum after reading lot’s of stuff and understood that LightBurn is the way togo software vice. So I though what better place to ask for serious advice than here.
I’m looking to purchase a laser cutter to work on acrylic up to say 4-5mm and all other stuff you can do, including engraving. I need at least a 600x400mm cut area.

My budget is around $2500 but I’m flexible for the right machine. I would take a smaller, higher quality machine over a larger with less quality.

What are my options?

There are a cornucopia of topics on that subject here. Do a search and you will find what the thoughts on the subject are. I would suggest a laser no less than 80 watts if you are going to be doing production work.

What do you think about this machine?

It has a Top Wisdom controller not Ruida. It has the cheap mirror mounts. I would not believe that it has a genuine Reci tube.

Thank you, how do I tell if a machine has a true Rudi controller and other good internals?
Is this any good or same as the previous one? https://www.ebay.com/itm/RECI-100W-1060-CO2-Laser-Cutting-and-Engraver-Machine-With-CE-CW5000-Ruida-6445/274075358627?epid=591210810&hash=item3fd02a15a3:g:IA8AAOSwUrZduloR

Could you see if you can find a “good” machine that you can link to?

Here is the 100 watt version of the laser I have by the same distributor. I own the 60 watt version. They are known by Orionmotortech or Preenex. Look at the pictures and comparison chart.
