I’ve just setup my C920 camera. The image is coming into Lightburn in portrait mode when I start fresh…I need to recalibrate each time to get it to fit in landscape mode.
2nd issue is the image is upside down. Is there a way to turn the image without having to disassemble my setup?
Is the image in portrait and landscape after hitting “Update Overlay”? The Camera alignment process makes accommodations for this and should display correctly in the overlay. The live view will not be corrected, however.
This time I switched cameras and then went back to C920 camera. This updated the live view to landscape, but it’s still upside down and the update overlay doesn’t seem to do anything to the work area.
Were you able to successfully go through the calibration and alignment processes? If not, try those first. The screenshot you showed for alignment didn’t seem to be calibrated.
However, I don’t think that should prevent you from updating the overlay but not certain.
Strange… especially since you were able to capture images in the calibration.
Try changing the “Camera Capture System” from Custom to Default in Edit->Settings and try again. You may need to go through calibration and alignment again for it to work properly… but you should be able to test overlay without doing that.
Ha, nope, nothing is easy. I did, still looks the same. When I re-ran the alignment, I didn’t burn a new test sheet, I just used the original test sheet. I wonder if I need to burn a new one first…will try that.
