Camera accuracy Amazon vs LightBurn

Hello, All
I see several threads on this already, but not exactly what I am seeing.
Background:
Camera: 4mp off amazon. Gone through calibration and alignment several times, getting great numbers during calibration, .10-.16
Fiber laser, 175 work area, about 200mm focal length, after camera calibration and alignment burn a 50x75 rectangle, “Update Overlay” image not exactly over rectangle, last one pretty close but still error +/- 0.5 mm. Tried reducing the scale of the dot pattern, have pattern spray glued to flat sheet of steel so nice and flat. Alignment pattern on a piece of stainless so hitting targets nicely. Trying to eliminate variations.
Question:
Could I expect better accuracy if I used the 5mp camera from LB? Or is half a mm what to expect?
Thanks

Still curious if the LB camera is better, but did find the correction settings if they were a snake they would have bit me.

The Arducam 16MP, when paired with the correct varifocal lens, is VASTLY better than either option. And cheap.

Varifocal is variable zoom. You can make it meet the bed’s 4 corners. FOVs that go past where they need to often waste a stunning amount of pixels.

That’s an option. I’ll probably post on another thread If I don’t here back to this next question here:
Is there a limiting factor for resolution with LB “Update Overlay” ?
Seems like pretty low resolution regardless of using the 2 mp or the 4 mp cameras I have been using.
