Camera Alignment and Laser Head

I bought one of those 5MP 90 degree OV5648 cameras and mounted it on top of my laser.

For calibration I chose a template for the 5MP 90 degree fisheye.

Since it is a diode laser with a big laser head I was wondering if I need to remove the complete laser (including frame) from my housing and do the alignment or do I leave it in?

Leave it. Do not change your setup between calibration and alignment steps.
