I have a roughly 600x450mm work area on my machine. I have done all the alignment steps in the camera setup, and the camera system works well. Like others, I find that my camera image and the engraved location is always several centimeters off in both axis. I have always burned the alignment targets at the default 100%. I am wondering if I increase the size of the target burn to as close as possible to the size of my work area (in my case about 250%) if that would increase the accuracy of the image to engraving? I did this once before but did not see any improvement but at the time I was using a webcam rather than the Lightburn camera.
Yes - the scale value there is intended so you can scale up the markers to fit the machine. Making them farther apart reduces misalignment errors when tagging their positions.
