Camera Alignment upside down

Hi Everyone, i’m completely new in the laser cutting world. I just installed lightburn (trial period) to use with my brand-new Creality Falcon 2 pro 40W.
1st I calibrated the lens, all good!
then to calibrate the camera alignment is where things went wrong :frowning:

  • The image is upside down
  • it engraved very deep

I used the settings that were as default by the software…before I go any further I would appreciate help in this matter.

Thank you!

I would learn how to use the laser before moving to camera.
Have you tried burning a project yet, or done any material tests?

thanks for the advice. i,m setting up camera as one of the first things suggested by creality. I would like to start printing, but if everything prints upside down (offset) it doesn’t make sense to proceed to material tests before fixing this annoying issue… solution is much appreciated.

Check to make sure your machine origin is correct. That usually results in mirrored or upside down engravings. Device Settings (Wrench & Screwdriver icon). Most diode lasers origin is lower left.
