Every now and again i get the camera alignment wizard message come up which basically blocks out update overlay until you run the wizard again. The way i have found to bypass this message and use Update Overlay is NOT to click Update Overlay button, but to click on Trace button, then click cancel. This will open up the new update overlay of your present camera view, save you having to go through all camera alignment wizard etc
