Camera calibration help needed

I have tried everything I can think of but when I click capture to calibrate a camera nothing happens. Any help appreciated. (Omtech 50w, 110 degree camera, good image showing, tried different size dots print out, placed on a white background and created even lighting.)

Just to be entirely clear, when you say nothing happens, do you mean absolutely nothing, or do you mean you get a message saying the calibration pattern wasn’t found, no matter what you do?

If it’s the former, this could be a Windows permissions issue. If you’re using Windows 8, try right-clicking LightBurn and running it in ‘Compatibility Mode’.

Another thing to try is changing the Camera Capture System in your LightBurn settings from ‘Custom’ to ‘Default’.

These are the most common reasons for difficulty with camera calibration: The camera doesn’t need to be on the machine for the lens calibration - It’s ONLY the lens and pattern that matter for this part, and the pattern can be scaled up. If you do it on the machine, if you have a honeycomb bed, cover it (bedsheet, paper, wood, etc) - the pattern gets misinterpreted as more circles and confuses the software.
