The person in the thread you linked had no problem calibrating the camera but encountered a black image when capturing the first image for the Alignment Wizard.
If that’s what is happening for you, I’d appreciate it if you could collect more info for our troubleshooting please;
In version 1.7.04 capture the black alignment image again while the debug log is enabled;
-turn on the debug mode (Help>Enable Debug Log).
-Start the Laser Tools> Calibrate Camera Alignment wizard
-Click on ‘Capture Image’
-Presumably at this point you get the black image, take a screenshot of that and then ‘Cancel’ and turn off the debug mode (select Help>Enable Debug Log again).
-Look in your Documents folder for the debug log ‘LightBurnLog.txt’, rename it to LightBurnLog_black1704.txt
Install LightBurn 1.6.03 and complete the alignment;
-Turn on the debug mode again (Help>Enable Debug Log).
-Go to Laser Tools> and Calibrate Camera Alignment.
-When the alignment is finished, turn off the debug mode (select Help>Enable Debug Log again)
-Look in your Documents folder for the debug log ‘LightBurnLog.txt’, rename it to LightBurnLog_good1603.txt
Try using the ‘Camera Control’ window to ‘Update Overlay’, everything should be working fine? If so, right-click on the image in the Camera Control Window and ‘Export Camera Settings’, save this as something like ‘CameraSettings_Good1603.lbcm’ file.
Close LightBurn 1.6.03 and re-install the 1.7.04 version update;
The camera should still be working fine, since the camera settings will have remained attached to the same device which is not changed during the program update.
