Camera calibration not working om my Mac

I just bought a Sculpfun Cam500 and have been trying to calibrate the lens for the last three days. I tried everything with no result what so ever. Red a lot about the same issue but found no answers.
I use L.B. 1.7.01 and MacOs 14.6.1
While searching for answers I installed L.B. on an old windows laptop just to check and to my surprise it took me about 15 minutes to calibrate the lens and camera settings. The overlay refresh also works without problems.
No problem with the dots or amount of light, just straight on perfection.
Is this a problem for MacOs only?
Does anyone have the same experience?
How to solve this?

Kind regards, Rudy

My problem is solved!
After a lot of searching and trying I found the problem.
In the general settings/camera tab I have a choice for Efficient or High camera resolution.
Apparantely the default is set to Efficient. Changing it to High resolution made the calibration of the lens possible without any problems.
After careful reading the manual one more time I could not find any mentioning of this setting when you want to calibrate the cameralens.
